Vote Libertarian on Nov 4th!

November 3, 2014
If  you're tired of big government taxing and spending and encroaching on our Constitutional rights, then on November 4th, please cast your vote for Liberty and Freedom. Vote Libertarian!

Unlike the Democrats and Republicans who are working together to grow the government, Libertarians are working to rein in the government. Libertarians will reduce government taxes and spending and debt. Libertarians will work to stop the endless war in the Middle East. Libertarians will fight to stop the government spying on Americans. We will work to end the failed war on drugs. We'll fight against the central planning of education, and get the control back to the parents and teachers and local communities. And when it comes to health care, we believe the patient should be in control, not the government!

Libertarians understand that the concept of free markets and free people is what made our nation great historically. We take a common sense approach to government by advocating that low taxes, less government spending, free markets, and upholding personal liberty, will produce economic prosperity and opportunity.

The Libertarian Party of Louisiana is proud of our candidates who have stepped up to run for office. We ask that on November 4th you cast a vote for Freedom and Liberty in Louisiana. Vote Libertarian!!!

Libertarian Party of Louisiana Exceeds 10,000 Registered Voters

September 29, 2014
Congratulations to the Libertarian Party of Louisiana as the Secretary of State has officially reported over 10,000 registered Libertarian voters in Louisiana! This milestone indicates a growing number of Louisiana voters are dissatisfied with the current two-party system and looking for a better option. The desire to restore freedom and liberty has made Libertarian Party the fastest growing and 3rd largest political Party in Louisiana and across the nation.

As other political parties are losing voters, the Libertarian Party is undergoing phenomenal growth nationwide and in Louisiana. We welcome those who are disenchanted with big government and policies that diminish our Constitutional rights.

The Libertarian Party of Louisiana is a grassroots movement dedicated to reducing the size and intrusiveness of government. Libertarians are organizing at the local level and establishing Parish Executive committees across the state. This bottom-up approach addresses government at the local level in an effort to restore Constitutional values and principles.

With a record-breaking number of Libertarian candidates on the ballot this fall, voters who are sick of the endless spending and ever-expanding government have a choice. Candidates for U.S. Senate Brannon McMorrisU.S. Congressional District 1 Jeff SanfordU.S. Congressional District 2 Sam DavenportU.S. Congressional District 4 Randall Lord, U.S. Congressional District 5 Charles Saucier, and U.S. Congressional District 6 Rufus Craig have all promised to uphold the Constitution and work to repeal the so-called Patriot Act. There are 13 additional local candidates on the ballot across Louisiana who are fighting to install Libertarian principles in government.

The Libertarian platform is economically responsible and promotes individual liberty. Libertarians want the government to stay out of our finances and our personal lives. If you are dissatisfied with the failed two-party system, if you want "More Freedom and Less Government," if you support the Constitution, then join the organization that is working to implement the type of government you believe in.
